Any creative person, such as an artist, musician, writer, chef, graphic designer, medical intuitive, or psychic knows intuitively that to let there passion flow in their work; they must allow divine guidance to come through and let the flow happen organically. The intent may be crystal clear in your mind but if you become blocked in any way it will stop you up short.

I find when I am about to do any type of writing or art I allow myself a few minutes of quiet contemplation through meditation, yoga or tai chi. This seems to unlock my creativity and I can proceed without any hesitation and the creative flow happens.

I am very excited to be starting work on my next cookbook. It will be based on Traditional Foods from our ancestors and the healing benefits gleaned from consuming such foods. Am I overwhelmed at the thought of such a project. No I can’t wait to share what I know and what so many of our ancestors knew about simple good for you food.

It is time we all start to understand we can go back to the old traditions and folklore and revive them and our health at the same time.

Below are a few ways to unlock your own creative potential:

  1. Do you have a dream you may be working towards but feel bound up in ropes? Start with small steps. Journal what the steps you could take to realize your dream. You will eventually feel those ropes unravel as you become clearer on the steps to take.
  2. Are you letting other people’s opinions or even your own negative thoughts hold you back? Journal what you can do to change this and become stronger in yourself and what you want to achieve.
  3. Know you have the creative potential and power to commit to whatever you want to achieve. Take the first step, let nothing hold you back. Become your own individual.
