What is meant by intuitive eating? Do you ever notice what the person behind you in line at the grocery store has in the shopping cart? Most of the time I notice highly processed non-food. It is time to develop a mind set towards a more holistic approach to food and eating.
Intuitive Eating brings about change from the inside. By learning to listen to the sensations, thoughts, and emotions around eating we will learn to engage all parts of us, our body, heart and mind. People eat not because their body needs food;but because maybe everyone else is eating or maybe just because it is noon or maybe the smell of that cinnamon bun in the mall drew them in.
Listening to the body’s intuitive messaging system will help to train us all to become more aware of what really urges us to eat.
